Dr. L. Ranjit is working as Assistant Professor and Head in the Department of Social Work, NGM College, Pollachi. His area of interest includes Personnel Management and Human Resource Development. He is experienced in research and teaching for the past 20 years in the field of Social Work. Presently guiding 3 Ph.D research Scholars and one already awarded. Served as research consultant for industries and institution for marketing research and Psychometric Testing.

 He has worked in major research projects as research assistant funded by various Central Ministries. He has attended a countable number of workshops and seminars related to Social Work Profession and have published more than 45 papers in various National / International Journals and Edited Books.

 He has also presented more than 35 research papers in various National / International seminars and conferences related to social work and have served as a resource person in more than 35 workshops related to “Research Methodology and SPSS “organised by various institutions.

 He has handsome knowledge in Statistical Package for social science research (SPSS), Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS), Smart PLS and Zotero (Managing Bibliography). He has also served as a consultant for more than 85 Ph.D thesis.  He is an active member in the editorial boards of 12 international journals. He has also engaged himself in various extension activities like organizing tribal camps, awareness programmes, social surveys, etc.

 He was awarded “Shri P K Das Memorial Best Faculty Award 2014” by Nehru Group of Institutions, Coimbatore” and “Young Faculty Award by Venus International Foundation, Chennai- 2015” for his contributions and achievements in the field of social work.
