On 9January 2024, a Traditional Food Festival was organized by the Department of Botany along with ICDS and IIC with their objective as providing protection and education to the girl child on nutrition. As a part of this programme an innovative recipe competition was conducted. The recipe competition was focused mainly on millets to promote the use of millets in culinary creations,
encouraging the participants to explore the versatility of this nutritious grain.
