Sri M. Balasubramaniam, Secretary of the College, is an industrialist. He is in the Governing Body of the College for over two decades. At present, he is the Managing Director of Sakthi Finance Ltd., Coimbatore having 21 branches spread across India.

He is a Director of several companies like Sakthi Sugars Ltd., Sri Chamundeswari Sugars Ltd., Bhagavathi Textiles Ltd., Sri Sakthi Textiles Ltd., Sakthi Management Services Ltd., Sakthi Properties Ltd., ABT Ltd., ABT Finance Ltd. and Union Bus Service (P) Ltd. Under his able guidance, ABT Industries Ltd. (Auto Division) received Awards of Excellence for Dealership (Madurai Division) and Spare Sales (Kerala) several times. He has been instrumental for the healthy growth of ABT Industries (Dairy Division). He was Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in 1999.
