NGM COLLEGE,POLLACHI DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE (UG/SF) jointly with DISTRICT TOBACCO CELL,COIMBATORE has organized drug awareness programme on 2.9.2022 at 10.00 am in Dr. Arutchelvar Arangam. Ms. N. Radha Head, Department of English Language welcomed the gathering. Dr. R. Muthukumaran, Principal presided over the function. 1200 students have participated.The Chief Guests Dr. Saranya Devi, District Consultant, District Tobacco Control Cell, Department of Public Health Coimbatore and Mr .K. Murali Krishnan, Social Worker District Tobacco Control Cell, Department of Public Health Coimbatore spoke about the harmful effects of drugs and highlighted the consequences of consuming the narcotic substances and its Hazardous health issues.
