Dr. Raja, Chief Superintendent, Pollachi Government Hospital, delivered a lecture on “Health
and Hygiene” among the college students on 2nd September 2023. The arrangements for the
event were organized by the National Students Corps, PG and Research Department of
Commerce and Pollachi Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Youth Association. Initially, National
Cadet Corps officer, Dr. M. Chithirai Selvan gave the welcome address. Dr. Muthukumaran,
Principal of the college presided the event. After that, Dr. Raja, the superintendent of the
Pollachi Government Hospital, told the students in a special lecture on “Health and Hygiene”
that “Health and Sanitation are very important in today’s times.” Additionally, good physical and
mental health paves the way for everyone to achieve in life.

The N.G.M. College and students of the National Student Corps who participated in the cleanliness drive at Pollachi Government Hospital were appreciated by the Doctor and presented certificates. Head of Department of Commerce, Dr. Brundha, felicitated all the students who received certificates. Finally, Associate Professor, Dr. Shanmuga Priya thanked all those who came to the function. Coordinator of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Youth Association, Thiru. Vellai Natarajan and Pollachi 26th Ward Councilor, Thiru. Santalingam participated in the ceremony and graced the occasion. More than a hundred NCC Cadets, including students from the department of commerce, attended the event.
